Öz

Bu çalışmada, Akdeniz Bölgesinde bulunan ve yoğun kirlenme tehdidi altındaki önemli sulak alanlardan, Çamlık lagününde seston, bentoz ve sediment örneklerinde ağır metallerden Pb, Cu, Zn, Cd, Fe’in birikim miktarları ve bunların mevsimsel değişimi belirlenmiştir. Örneklerdeki ağır metal konsantrasyonları yaş parçalama yöntemi uygulandıktan sonra FLAAS ve GFAAS kullanılarak ölçülmüştür. Son yıllarda bölgeye düşen yağış miktarındaki azalma, tatlı su ve deniz suyu kaynağının yetersizliği, sedimantasyon, yeni yerleşim alanları ve çevrede bulunan tarım arazileri ile birlikte yüksek tuzluluk lagünün ekolojik dengesinin bozulmasında önemli etkenler olarak düşünülebilir. Çalışmada belirlenen bulgular değerlendirildiğinde en çok Zn (2295,06 µgg-1) ve Cd (17,06 µgg-1)’un sestonda; Fe ( 30441,70µgg-1) ve Pb (67,29 görülmüştür. Abstract

In this research, samples were taken seasonally from the Tuzla Lagoon and heavy metal (Cd, Pb, Cu, Zn, Fe) concentrations in the sediment, seston and benthos were measured. The concentrations of heavy metals in the seston, benthos and sediment samples were determined by using Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (FLAAS) and Grafite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (GFAAS) after wet digestion method. In recent years, decrease on the amount of local rainfalls, the lack of fresh and seawater sources, sedimentation, agricultural fields around the region, new domestic places and increasing salinity can be thought as the reasons of loosing the ecological balance in the lagoon. Results in this study showed that, in general, maximum bioaccumulation of Zn (2295,06 µgg-1) and Cd (17,06 µgg-1 ) was detected in seston, Fe (30441,70µgg-1) and Pb (67,29 µgg-1 ) in sediment and maximum Cu (72,24µgg-1) levels were detected in benthos. As the conclusion, changes of detected levels of heavy metals on seston, sediment and benthos are seasonally independent.
