Kırmızı bataklık kereviti (Procambarus clarkii) jüvenillerinde substrat seçimi.

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, jüvenil kırmızı bataklık kerevitlerinin (Procambarus clarkii) altı farklı substrat (bazalt, boş, çakıl, kalsit, kum, sinek teli) üzerinde substrat tercihleri araştırılmıştır. Substrat seçiminde tabanı altı farklı bölüme ayrılmış ve her bölümde farklı substrat olan altıgen şekilli cam akvaryum kullanılmıştır. Yaklaşık 3 aylık 10 adet kerevit (30±0,2 mm total boy) akvaryuma bireysel olarak yerleştirilerek 24 saat boyunca gözlemlenmişlerdir. Her bir substratta geçirilen süreler kaydedilmiştir. Kerevitler en fazla kum ve bazaltı tercih etmişlerdir (P
