Edremit Körfezi'nde Bakalyaro'nun (Merluccius merluccius L., 1758) yaş ve büyüme özelliklerinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Bakalyaro (Merluccius merluccius L., 1758)’nun Edremit Körfezi’ndeki boy, ağırlık, yaş, cinsiyet dağılımları ile büyüme parametrelerinin tespit edilmesi amacıyla Eylül 1999-Aralık 2000 tarihleri arasında yapılmıştır. Çalışma periyodu süresince, 38-80 m derinliklerde yapılmış olan trol çekimlerinden elde edilen toplam 2375 birey incelenmiş ve bu örneklerin 7.6-46.2 cm total boy ve 2.09-766.0 g total ağırlıklar arasında bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Otolitlerden yapılan yaş tayinleri sonucunda örneklerin 0+ ile V yaş grupları arasında dağılım gösterdiği saptanmıştır. Ortalama total boy değerlerinden hesaplanan von Bertalanffy büyüme parametreleri dişi, erkek ve tüm bireyler için sırasıyla; L=53.49 cm, 47.49 cm ve 53.90 cm; k=0.385, 0.349 ve 0.377 yıl-1; t0=-0.078, -0.112 ve -0.045 yıl; gelişim performansı indeksi (Ф) değerleri ise 2.895, 3.042 ve 3.040 olarak bulunmuştur
