A preliminary study on population structure and abundance of Plesionika martia (A. Milne-Edwards, 1883)

Öz

Bu çalışma 12-13 Haziran 2004 tarihinde Kuzey-Doğu Akdeniz’in derin sularında yürütülmüştür. Ticari bir trol teknesiyle yürütülen araştırmada, 400-600 m derinlikte 6 adet dip trolü çekimi yapılarak kırmızı karides (Plesionika martia, A. Milne-Edwards, 1883)’in populasyon yapısı ile verimliliği üzerine bir ön çalışma yapılmıştır. Toplam 50 adet bireyin örneklendiği araştırmada, cinsiyet oranları (1 ♂: 6,14 ♀) arasında dişiler lehine önemli bir fark bulunmuştur (p< 0,05). Ortalama karapaks uzunluğu (CL ± Sd) ve ortalama ağırlık (W ± Sd) erkek ve dişiler için sırasıyla 59,28 ± 14,49 mm (43-77 mm) ve 7,58 ± 3,16 g (4,16-11,73 g), 73,62 ± 9,24 mm (44-87 mm) ve 12,13 ± 3,88 g (4,5-19,7 g) olarak bulunmuştur. Erkek ve dişilerin karapaks boyları ile erkek ve dişilerin toplam ağırlıkları arasındaki farkın önemli olduğu görülmüştür (P
