Öz

Caulerpa racemosa (Forsskål) J. Agardh ve Caulerpa taxifolia (Vahl) C. Agardh (Chlorophyceae=Yeşil Algler) Akdeniz’de problem olan istilacı türlerdir. C. taxifolia Türkiye kıyılarında bulunmamasına karşın C. racemosa Türkiye’nin Ege ve Akdeniz kıyılarında yayılış göstermektedir. Bu çalışmada, Seferihisar (İzmir, Ege Denizi)’dan 2002–2003 yıllarında toplanan C. racemosa’nın biyokimyasal içeriği mevsimsel olarak belirlenmiştir. Analiz sonuçlarında toplam su miktarı %92.75-95.93, ham protein %12.9420.18, inorganik madde (kül) %8.02-19.50 ve suda eriyebilir karbonhidrat 0.65-1.11 mg/100ml olduğu saptanmıştır
