Öz

Bütün omurgasız canlılarda bulunan biyodüzenleyici moleküller bazı hormonal roller oynarlar. Knidliler (deniz laleleri, mercanlar, hidralar ve denizanaları) morfolojik, fizyolojik ve ekolojik anlamda geniş çeşitlilik gösteren bir gruptur. Knidlilerde kimyasal biyodüzenleyici moleküller ve endokrin benzeri fonksiyonlar fazla bilinmemekle birlikte bazı omurgalı hormonları knidli dokularında tespit edilmiştir. Bu derlemede, biyodüzenleyici moleküllerin, bazı knidli türlerinin fizyolojik ve fiziksel gelişimlerinde ne tip etkiler meydana getirdiği irdelenecektir
