Batı Marmara’da Kum Şırlanının (Donax trunculus L., 1758) Bazı Populasyon Parametreleri

Öz

Bu çalışmada, Marmara Denizi’nde doğal yataklara sahip olan kum şırlanının (Donax trunculus, L., 1758) bazı populasyon parametreleri tahmin edilmiştir. Örneklemeler, Marmara Denizi’nin batısında avcılığa kapalı alanlardan 12 ay (Mayıs 2007 - Nisan 2008) süre ile aylık olarak yapılmıştır. D. trunculus’un büyüme parametreleri uzunluk–frekans dağılımları kullanılarak hesaplanmış, çalışmanın sonucunda büyüme parametreleri ve büyüme performansı, L∞= 40.05 mm, K= 0.69 yıl-1, C= 1, WP= 0.71 (Ağustos) ve Ø'= 3.04 olarak bulunmuştur. D. trunculus populasyonunda maksimum yaşam süresi 4.35 yıl olarak tahmin edilmiş, ölüm oranı (Z) 0.998 yıl-1, yaşam payı (St) ise 0.37 yıl-1 olarak bulunmuştur. Kondisyon indeksinden tahmin edilen üreme zamanı, Mayıs-Temmuz ayları olarak belirlenmiştir
