Öz

Pterois miles (Bennett, 1828), tarihin en kötü istilacı türlerinden biridir ve Akdeniz'deki hızlı dağılımı yerel topluluklar için ciddi kaygılar doğurmaktadır. Ağustos 2019 tarihinde bir birey Ege Denizi'nde Kokar Koyu'nda bir zıpkıncı tarafından 15 m derinlikte yakalanmıştır.
