Preparation of Manuscripts
Papers must be clearly written in Turkish or English. Manuscripts (including the references, table headings and figure captions) should be typed double spaced on A4 size paper in 12-point Times New Roman font including the references, table headings and figure captions with standard margins (25 mm) all around. The author's name should appear centred under the title. Author(s) name, corresponding author name, author's institutional address, informations of telephone, e-mail and ORCID number was given in title page. Degrees and qualifications should not be included. The line number should be given to the whole manuscript. The main text, references, figures, and tables should be within a single file. Research papers and reviews must not exceed 25 manuscript pages including tables and figures (except checklists). Short communications, technical notes and reports must not exceed 10 manuscript pages.
Manuscript parts
Title Page
Title page should contain first name and surname, department, institution, city with postcode, and country of each author. The e-mail address of the corresponding author should be provided separately. For all correspondence, the corresponding author will be contacted. ORCID numbers of all article authors must be listed on the article title page. Authors who do not have an ORCID number are required to register their number at www.orcid.org.
Abstract
Turkish or English abstracts should not exceed 300 words. For Non Turkish authors, Turkish title, keywords and abstract of manuscript will be translated by journal language editor. Abstract should be include importance and critical results of study. Keywords should not be less than 3 and should describe the topic covered by the article.
Following pages
In the research article(s), Authors must be IMRAD (Introduction, Materials and metods, Results, And, Discussion) style. This requirement is not necessarily for other article types (Short communication, Technical Contribution, etc.). In writing of systematic papers, the International Codes of Zoological and Botanical Nomenclature must be strictly followed. The first mention in the text of any taxon must be followed by its authority including the year. The names of genera and species should be given in italics. Table and figure captions should be short and informative. Tables and figures should be embedded in the appropriate parts of the article. Figures should be TIFF or JPEG formats with min. 300 dpi.
Acknowledgements
Acknowledgements should be kept brief and placed before the reference section.
Conflict of interest
Authors should declare any conflict of interest in this section.
Ethical Conduct of Research Using Animals Statement
It is compulsory to have an ethics committee decision in clinical and experimental scientific research articles using live animal as material. The author (s) should provide the ethics committee decision number in the material and method section of the manuscript. The editorship has the right to request the ethics committee certificate.
Copyright Notice
All authors must approve the copyright form if the manuscript is accepted for publication by the end of evaluation.
References
Full references should be provided in accordance with the APA 6 style. The in-text citation to the references should be formatted as surname(s) of the author(s) and the year of publication. For citations with more than two authors, only the first author’s name should be given, followed by “et al.” and the date, i.e. (Önsoy, 2005), (Önsoy and Salman, 2005), (Önsoy vd., 2005).
When its needed to cite two or more works together, in-text citations should be arranged alphabetically in the same order in which they appear in the reference list, i.e. (Önsoy, 2005; Filiz, 2006; Önsoy and Filiz, 2007) or (Önsoy, 2005, 2006, 2007) or (Önsoy and Filiz, 2005a, 2005b). All citations within the text should be listed in the reference list. DOI information (if available) belonging to the cited article should be placed at the end of the reference, and a dot should be placed after the DOI information.
Website references should include the full URL address and the access date.
