Ethical Principles and Publication Policy

MEDITANS publication language is Turkish or English. The journal publishes two issues per year (March and September) and special issues if necessary. Access to the journal will be free of charge and articles will be published online. No fee will be charged from the author/authors for publications. Care will be taken to ensure that the articles submitted to the journal are original, not published elsewhere or in the process of evaluation. All responsibilities (ethical, scientific, legal, etc.) of the published articles in the journal will belong to the author/authors. The editor, the assistant editors and the publisher do not accept any responsibility for the published articles in the journal. All persons present as authors in the submitted studies equally share the responsibilities required for publication ethics. The studies submitted to the journal for publication are sent to at least two (2) referees for evaluation after being subjected to prior review by the editor and assistant editors. Reviewers are given 21 days for evaluation.
For research involving humans or animals, approvals or permissions from the relevant committees will be indicated in the article.
Copyright Policy
Authors will fill in the copyright transfer form for the submitted articles. Under the title of “Conflict of Interest” in the submitted articles, the authors must declare that there is no conflict of interest in the scientific subject that was studied.
Plagiarism Check
The studies submitted to the journal will be evaluated in plagiarism screening applications after the completion of the peer-review process and before publication.
