İzmir Körfezi'nde Karides Uzatma Ağları ile Kalamar (Loligo vulgaris Lamarck, 1798) Avcılığı.

Abstract

Bu çalışmada İzmir Körfezi’nde kalamar (Loligo vulgaris) avcılığında kullanılan, yıpranmış çatılı karides uzatma ağlarının av verimin incelenmesi hedeflenmiştir. Ekim-Kasım 2003 arasında ticari balıkçılık koşulları altında 11 av operasyonu gerçekleştirilmiştir. Uzatma ağları ile 23 tür yakalanmış ve bu türlerin ağırlık olarak %66 sını kalamarın oluşturduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yakalanan 288 birey içerinde ortalama kalamar ağırlığı ve manto boyu sırasıyla, 166.7±6.834 gr ve18.2±0.307 cm olarak tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, 26 adet/gün ve 4.13 kg/gün CPUE ile eskiyen karides uzatma ağları kalamar avcılığında etkili bir av aracı olarak İzmir Körfezi’nde kullanılmaya başlanmıştır
