Çevresel Faktörlerin Balıklarda Cinsiyet Dönüşümüne Etkisi.

Abstract

Normal şartlar altında cinsiyetin genotip tarafından belirlendiği kabul edilir. Fakat, doğal populasyonlarda cinsiyet oranlarının bir yöne doğru eğilim gösterdiğinin fark edilmesi ve bazı gonokoristik bireylerin gonadlarında interseks özelliklerin saptanması nedeniyle, balıklarda cinsiyet farklılaşması üzerine çevresel faktörlerin etkileri olduğu ileri sürülmüştür. Yapılan son çalışmalar göstermektedir ki, hem sürüngenlerde hem de balıklarda, sıcaklık büyük ölçüde eşey tayininden ziyade cinsiyet farklılaşmasını etkilemektedir. Birçok balık türü, üreticiler için tek cinsiyetli üretimi avantajlı yapan eşeysel gelişim farklılığı ile karakterize edilmektedir. Çevresel etkilerden sıcaklık, gelecekte yetiştiricilik çalışmalarında cinsiyet dönüşümünde kullanılabilecek bir etkendir
