The seasonal changes of diatom species composition and species diversity in Izmir Bay between 2008-

Abstract

Bu araştırmada diyatom tür komposizyonu ve tür çeşitliliği (Shannon-Wiener) değişimleri, iç, orta, dış körfezde yer alan 9 istasyonda (0.5 m, 5.0 m, 10.0 m ve 15.0 m) kalitatif ve kantitatif olarak 2008-2010 yılları arasında mevsimsel olarak (Kasım 2008, Şubat 2009, Nisan 2009, Temmuz 2009, Kasım 2009, Şubat 2010, Mart 2010 ve Temmuz 2010) incelendi. Yapılan çalışmalar sonucunda Bacillariophyceae sınıfına ait toplam 29 cins, 48 tür, 1 varyete ve 3 forma saptanmış, istasyonlara ve örnekleme periyoduna bağlı olarak diyatom yoğunluğunda farklar belirlenmiştir. Aşırı üremeler özellikle iç körfezde bulunan istasyonlarda Şubat 2009 ve 2010 dönemlerinde gözlenmiş ve en yüksek hücre yoğunluğu İstasyon 26’da saptanmıştır, istasyon 22 ve istasyon 24, istasyon 26’yı izlemektedir. Bacillariophyceae türleri hücre yoğunluklarındaki katkılar incelendiğinde Pseudo-nitzschia pungens, Rhizosolenia setigera ve Skeletonema costatum baskınlığı nedeniyle sorumlu türlerdir. Bununla birlikte, Pleurosigma elongatum nisbi bolluğu ve bulunma sıklığı en fazla olan türdür. En yüksek diversite indeks değeri 35 tür ile Şubat 2009 döneminde 4.778 bits hücre-1, en düşük diversite indeks değeri ise 31 tür ile Temmuz 2009 döneminde 0.963 bits hücre-1 olarak saptanmıştır
