Hirfanlı Baraj Gölü (Kırşehir, Türkiye)’nde yaşayan kadife balığı (Tinca tinca (Linnaeus, 1758))’nın beslenme özellikleri

Abstract

Hirfanlı Baraj Gölü’nden avlanan ve 0-VI yaş grupları arasında dağılım gösteren 249 adet Kadife balığı (Tinca tinca)’nın beslenme biyolojisi incelenmiştir. Tinca tinca’nın besin tercihinin tespit edilebilmesi için Geometrik Önem İndeksi (GII) metodu kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca balığın besin tercihindeki aylık, mevsimlik ve yıllık değişim de incelenmiştir. Balıkların sindirim kanalında zooplanktonik (Copepoda, Rotifera, Cladocera, Ostracoda, Ephippium) ve bentik (Chironomus, Oligochaeta, Gastropoda, Corethra, Gammarus) organizmalar ile bunlara ait ekstremite parçaları, fitoplanktonik organizmalar (Bacillariophyta, Cyanophyta, Chlorophyta, Pyrrophyta, Euglenophyta), çamur, detritus ve balık yumurtası tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada alglerin en çok tercih edilen besin tipi olduğu, bunu zooplanktonik ve bentik organizmaların takip ettiği belirlenmiştir. Tinca tinca’nın sindirim kanalında 44’ü bitkisel 16’sı hayvansal olmak üzere toplam 60 besin çeşidi saptanmıştır. Beslenmenin en fazla olduğu mevsimler sırasıyla yaz, sonbahar, kış ve ilkbahar olarak saptanmıştır. Sindirim kanalı dolu birey sayısı yaz ve sonbahar aylarında daha fazla bulunmuştur

Feeding properties of tench (Tinca tinca (Linnaeus, 1758)) in Hirfanlı Dam Lake (Kırşehir, Turkey)

Abstract

Feeding biology of 249 tench (Tinca tinca) specimens varied between 0-VI years of age groups caught in Hirfanlı Dam Lake was investigated. The Geometric Index of Importance (GII) was used to determine food preferences of Tinca tinca. The monthly, seasonal and annual dependent preference of food of Tinca tinca were also investigated. Zooplanktonic (Copepoda, Rotifera, Cladocera, Ostracoda, Ephippium) and benthic (Chironomus, Oligochaeta, Gastropoda, Corethra, Gammarus) organisms along with extremities of these organisms, phytoplanktonic organisms (Bacillariophyta, Cyanophyta, Chlorophyta, Pyrrophyta, Euglenophyta), mud, detritus and fish eggs were determined in observed in the alimentary canal of fish. In this study algae were determined to be the most considerable food types which is followed by zooplanktonic and bentic organisms. 60 food items (44 organisms were plants and 16 were animals) were found in the alimentary canal of Tinca tinca. It was found the most feeding was occured in summer, fall, winter and spring, respectively. It was also found that the number of individuals with filled alimentary canal was higher in summer and fall months.
