Gediz Deltası dalyan alanlarının (İzmir Körfezi) yüzey sedimentlerinde ağır metal kirliliğinin değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışma kapsamında Gediz Deltasında yer alan Kırdeniz, Homa ve Çilazmak Dalyanları ile Çamaltı Tuzlası kıyılarından alınan yüzey sedimentlerinde ağır metal konsantrasyonları saptanmıştır. Zenginleşme faktörleri (EF) hesap edilerek, metal kirliliğinin muhtemel kaynakları belirlenmiş ve sediment kalite kriterlerine (SQG) göre sediment kalitesi ve kirlilik düzeyleri tespit edilmiştir. En yüksek metal konsantrasyonları, Çamlatı Tuzlası, Kırdeniz ve Çilazmak Dalyanlarında saptanmıştır. Tüm çalışma bölgesi için Pb, Cr, Ni’ nin yansıra özellikle Çilazmak ve Çamaltı Tuzlası alanlarında Hg kirlilikleri antropojenik kaynaklıdır. Çalışma alanının tümünde Ni konsantrasyonları PEL değerinin, Pb ve Cr seviyeleri ise TEL değerinin üstündedir. SOQ kriterlerine göre tüm istasyonlar Ni ve Cr açısından aşırı kirli; Pb için ise kısmen kirli olarak sınıflandırılmıştır. En yüksek kirlilik dereceleri Kırdeniz ve Çilazmak Dalyanlarında tespit edilmiştir.
