İzmir Körfezi için 2 yeni Tintinnid (Oligotrichida) türü: Leptotintinnus nordqvisti Brandt, 1906 ve Tintinnopsis corniger Hada, 1964

Öz

Yerel olmayan türlerin gemilerin balast tanklarıyla uzaklardaki başka ortamlara taşındıkları yüzyıllardır bilinmektedir. Diatom türleri ve sporları, dinoflagellat türleri ve kistleri ve zooplanktonik organizmalar, balast tanklarıyla taşınan en bilinen canlılardır. Bu çalışma Ciliata sınıfını ele alıp, İzmir Körfezi’nde daha önce gözlenmemiş, körfezdeki daha önceki çalışmalarda rapor edilmemiş iki yeni Tintinnid türünü sunmaktadır
