Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Edremit Körfezi’nde yer alan su ürünleri kooperatifleri ve balıkçı barınaklarının özellikleri, küçük ölçekli balıkçılık faaliyetleri ve bazı balıkçılık sorunları incelenmiştir. Örneklemeler Ocak, Haziran ve Temmuz 2005’te 6 adet su ürünleri kooperatifinde yürütülmüştür. Edremit Körfezi’nde kooperatif ve balıkçı barınaklarında sırasıyla 284 üye ve 655 balıkçı teknesi kaydedilmiştir. Körfezde kıyı balıkçılığı yoğun olarak kıyı sürütme ağları ve uzatma ağlarıyla yürütülmektedir
