The some biological features of carp population (Cyprinus carpio L., 1758) in Lake İznik (Bursa)

Abstract

In this study, was carried out between January-December 2006 in Lake İznik. During the study 55 males and 64 females, totaly 119 carp were caught. The age composition of the carp samples were changed from I-X, the fork lenght between 8.8 to 70.4 cm and total weights between 14 to 7362 g. The length-weight relationship and von Bertalanffy growth equations were determined W=0.025567L2.9213 and condition factor ranged from 1.983±0.097 for females, 1.958±0.070 for males, respectively.

Abstract

Bu araştırma İznik Gölü’nde Ocak-Aralık 2006 tarihleri arasında yapılmıştır. Araştırma boyunca 55 erkek, 64 dişi olmak üzere toplam 119 sazan yakalanmıştır. Sazan örneklerinin yaşları I-X, çatal boyları 8.8-70.4 cm, ağırlıkları 14-7362 g arasında değişim göstermiştir. Boy-ağırlık ilişkisi denklemi W=0.025567L2.9213, kondisyon faktörü dişilerde 1.983±0.097, erkeklerde 1.958±0.070 olarak belirlenmiştir.
