Abstract

Bu çalışma, Keban Baraj Gölü Pertek Bölgesi Balıkçılarının sosyo-ekonomik durumlarını araştırmak amacı ile yapılmıştır. Pertek Bölgesi, Keban Baraj Gölü’nün 5. avlak sahası olan Pertek Balıkçı Kooperatifi ile 6. avlak sahası olan Aydıncık Balıkçı Kooperatifinden oluşmaktadır. Bölgede avcılık yapan balıkçıların yaşları 23 – 52 arasında olup bunların % 80,64’ü ilkokul, % 12,90’ı ortaokul, % 6,45‘inin lise mezunu olduğu görülmüştür. Balıkçılık yapanların % 77,41’u işsizlik nedeni ile balıkçılıkla uğraşmakta olup, % 16,12’i babadan kalma meslek olarak devam ettirmektedirler. Balıkçıların % 61,29’unun sosyal güvencesi olmamakla birlikte, % 38,70’inin SSK ve BAĞKUR’a kayıtlı oldukları belirlenmiştir. Balıkçılık dışında tarım ve hayvancılıkla da uğraştıkları tespit edilmiştir. Balıkçıların 27 tanesi (%87,09) evli olup, bunların 1-4 arasında çocuk sahibi oldukları görülmüştür. Balıkçının geliri, bir avlama sezonunda balıkçı başına ortalama 40179 TL, gideri ise 30979 TL olarak hesaplanmıştır. Balıkçıların ortalama aylık geliri 1150 TL olarak belirlenmiştir
