Growth and Reproduction of Female Brushtooth Lizardfish Saurida undosquamis (Richardson) from the Gulf of Suez, Egypt.

Öz

Süveyş Körfezi’nde (Mısır) lokum balığı Saurida undosquamis (Richardson) dişi bireylerinin büyüme ve üremesi. Ekim 2004’ten Mayıs 2005’e kadar Süveyş Körfezinden trol ile yakalanan ve Attaka balıkçı limanından çıkarılan 434 Lokum balığının (Saurida undosquamis) ilk olgunluk boyu, yumurtlama dönemi, büyüme parametreleri ve yaş kompozisyonu ele alındı. Dişilerin total uzunluğu 13.2 ile 34 cm arasında değişim göstermiştir. Boy (L)-Ağırlık (W) arasındaki ilişki W=0.0038 L3.1666 olarak tespit edildi. FISAT programı ile analizi yapılan boy frekanslarından elde edilen yaş verileri von Bertalanffy denkleminin (1938) büyüme parametrelerinin tahmininde kullanıldı. Tahmin edilen parametreler L∞=35.56cm, K=0.26 ve t=-1.059 idi. Saurida undosquamis dişileri için maksimum yaş 6 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Yakalananlar içinde 3 yaş grubu dominant olarak gözlenmiştir. Ovaryum, gonadosomatik indeks ve oosit çapının makroskobik görüntülerinden Saurida undosquamis’in yumurtlama mevsiminin Aralık ve Mayıs’ta iki dönemlik artış göstermesiyle birlikte tüm yıl boyunca sürdüğü anlaşıldı. Gonadların, bakir, olgun bakir, gelişmekte olan, gelişmiş, yumurtlayan ve yumurtalarını dökmüş gibi dış görünüşe dayanan yedi aşaması belirlendi. Dişilerin 18.1cm’lik total boyda olgunluğa ulaşmığı tespit edilmiştir. Total, doğal ve avcılıktan kaynaklanan ölümlerinin yıllık değerleri sırasıyla 1.22, 0.99 ve 0.23 yıl-1 olarak hesaplandı. Tüketim oranı (E) 0.81 olarak tahmin edildi. Her toplamadaki ilgili verim ve biomas analizleri Süveyş körfezindeki Saurida undosquamis dişi stoklarının tüketilmiş oldugu bulunmuştur. Bireylerin en azından %50’sinin toplanma ve yumurtlatma için korunmasını garantilemek amacıyla, şu anki kullanım oranının yaklaşık %53.1’e kadar azaltılması gerekmektedir
