Aim & Scope

Veteriner Hekimler Derneği Dergisi (Journal of the Turkish Veterinary Medical Society) is an international peer-reviewed open-access journal dedicated to publish evidence-based, scientific research articles from various disciplines of the veterinary medical sciences that will contribute to the international literature. The Journal covers scientific and technological aspects of major veterinary medical sciences such as veterinary biomedical sciences, veterinary patho-biology and preventive medicine, veterinary humanities and social sciences, and veterinary complementary and alternative medicine.

Veteriner Hekimler Derneği Dergisi (Journal of the Turkish Veterinary Medical Society) has been the official and scientific publication of the Turkish Veterinary Society (Veteriner Hekimler Derneği) since 1930. It is published two times a year in January and June. The journal publishes original clinical and experimental articles, case reports, board-invited papers, and technical notes covering all fields of Veterinary Medicine in Turkish and English. Veteriner Hekimler Derneği Dergisi (Journal of the Turkish Veterinary Medical Society) welcomes article submissions and does not charge a publication fee. The journal provides open access to all scientific publications that can be accessed immediately after the journal's publication without any request for an institutional fee.

All published content is licensed under a Creative Commons CC BY-NC 4.0 license, available online and free of charge.
