It is the section that gives the purpose of the study and its place among the past studies. SI (Systeme International) units and abbreviations should be used in the article. When other abbreviations are used, they should be specified where they appear in the text. All texts should be written with TNR, 10 font size, normal, single spacing and without using first line indent in the paragraph.
II. MATERIAL AND METHOD
Experimental methods used for experimental studies should be given in a detailed and descriptive way. The method used should be descriptive so that it can be repeated by others. For theoretical studies, if the derivation has been made elsewhere, the formulas should be given with reference, and the final formula should be written by explaining each quantity in its content or the required derivation should be outlined.
2.1 Title Numbering
First level titles capitalized, bold 10 point, Times New Roman (TNR), left-aligned (I. ROMAN FIGURE)
Second level titles The first letters of the words in the title are capital, normal, italic 10 point Times New Roman, left aligned (1.1 Second Level Titles)
In the third level titles, only the first letter of the first word is capital, normal, italic 10 point Times New Roman, left aligned (1.1.1 Third level titles)
2.2 Images
All images should be drawn taking into account the page sizes. Images must be numbered sequentially throughout the article. Each image should contain its own title and necessary explanations. Description should not be more than 2 lines. Title and description texts with TNR 10 font size; title part should be bold and description part should be written normal. Figure title and description text below the relevant figure (Photographs, pictures, drawings and graphics should be evaluated as figures); Table title and explanation writings should be placed on the relevant table.
Figures and tables embedded in the text should be centered within the page. Figures and tables should be given close to where their names appear in the text. And abbreviations should not be made in the title of the Figure or Table in the text. (For example, it should not be like “Fig. 1”,…. Active and passive condition monitoring should be written as shown in Figure 2.)
Tables must be prepared using the table property of the MSWord processor. The data in the table should be 10 points.

2.2.1 Examples for visual titles and descriptions

Table 1. Marmara science journal (centered on the table, 10 font size, Times New Roman, only the first letter of the first word is capitalized)
2.3 Adding Equations and Numbering
Equations should be written left-aligned, and should be expressed with a single number throughout the entire article, regardless of the section number, and should be numbered accordingly. The number representing the equation number must be aligned to the far right and must be given in parentheses. for exampl
The calculation of the current passing through the resistor is given in Equation (1):
I = V / R (1)
It should be used as Equation (1) in articles with full text in English:
III. FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION
The results obtained in this section should be given by supporting with tables, figures and graphics if necessary. All tables and figures should be included in the text. The results must be interpreted by avoiding unnecessary repetitions. The results should be given similarities and differences with other researches, and their possible causes should be discussed. The contribution and importance of the results to science should be emphasized.
3.1 Conclusions and Evaluations
This section is where summary of results are indicated. The results from your data should be described in this section. Recommendations for future research can also be specified in this section. The statements mentioned in the conclusion should have been discussed in the text before and should not contain any new information.
3.1.1 Acknowledgments section
It is a short thank you to the institutions or individuals who support the study or to the experts who made suggestions for the research. If this study was supported by the Marmara University Scientific Research Projects Commission (BAPKO), the project should be referenced by the project number.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT
If there will be an Acknowledgment section, it should be given before the end of the text.
