A new record for the Turkish waters from Sinop coast of Black Sea: Lucernariopsis campanulata (Lamouroux, 1815) (Stauromedusae, Scyphozoa)
Abstract
This study was made in order to investigate the benthic fauna of Sinop coast between February 1999 and October 2003. This species which was found only at one of the 10 stations encountered for the first time in 1999 and a total of 16 individuals obtained during study. The binocular stereo-microscope was used to determine this species. It is a new record for the Turkish waters.
