Mesozooplankton Otlama Hızı Ölçümleri İçin Değiştirilmiş Seyrelme Denemeleri.

Abstract

Dünyada 1982’den beri fitoplankton topluluğunun potansiyel büyüme hızı ve otlama hızı ölçümleri için seyrelme tekniği kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Landry’nin tekniği çok fazla değiştirilmeden, aynı prensiplere bağlı kalınarak sadece mesozooplankton yoğunluğunu arttırma yoluna gidilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, mesozooplankton abundansı (bolluk) fazla olan verimli bölgelerde ters filtrasyon tekniğinin seyrelme tekniğine adapte edilmesi ile daha geniş av konsantrasyonu (derişim) aralığında mikrozooplankton yanında mesozooplankton otlama hızlarının da elde edilmesi ve değiştirilen metodun avantaj ve dezavantajlarının İzmir Körfezi örneklerinde incelenmesidir. Yat Limanı istasyonunda 1 ile 6 hafta arasında değişen mesozooplankton otlama periyotları gözlenirken; Çiğli istasyonunda 1 veya 2 haftalık periyotlar birbirini takip etmektedir
