Batı Marmara'da Beyaz Kum Midyesinin (Chamelea gallina L., 1758) Bazı Populasyon Parametreleri.

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Marmara Denizi’nde doğal yataklara sahip olan beyaz kum midyesinin (Chamelea gallina, L., 1758) bazı populasyon parametreleri tahmin edildi. Örneklemeler, Marmara Denizi’nin batısında avcılığa kapalı alanlardan 24 ay (Mayıs 2006 Nisan 2008) süre ile aylık olarak yapılmıştır. C.gallina’nın büyüme parametreleri uzunluk - frekans dağılımları kullanılarak hesaplanmış, çalışmanın sonucunda büyüme parametreleri ve büyüme performansı, K= 0,39 yıl-1, L∞= 33,05 mm, C= 0,06, WP= 0,08 (Ocak ayının sonu) ve Ø'= 2,63 olarak bulunmuştur. C.gallina populasyonunda maksimum yaşam süresi 7,69 yıl olarak tahmin edilmiş, ortalama doğal ölüm oranı (M) ise 0,65 yıl-1 olarak bulunmuştur
