Yeni Karpuzlu Baraj Gölü balıkçılarının sosyo-ekonomik yapısı.

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Yeni Karpuzlu (İpsala-Edirne) Baraj Gölü balıkçılarının sosyo-ekonomik yapıları incelenmiştir. Mayıs 2011 ve Mayıs 2012 tarihleri arasında 3 kez bölgeye gidilerek balıkçılıkla uğraşan 22 yöre balıkçısına hazırlanan anketler uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, balıkçıların yaş dağılımlarının 20 ile 59 arasında; en çok % 40.91 ile 40-49 yaşları arasında olduğu belirlenmiş, ayrıca 20-29 yaşları arasındaki balıkçıların % 9.09 oranı ile son sırada geldiği saptanmıştır. Bu balıkçıların % 9.09 unun bekar, % 90.91 nin evli; % 95.45 inin ilköğretim mezunu, % 4.55 inin lise mezunu olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Balıkçıların % 54.55 inin 5.00-5.99 m, % 9.09 unun 4.00-4.99 m boyundaki teknelere sahip olduğu; bu teknelerin % 18.19 unun motorsuz ve % 36.36 sının 8-11 HP gücünde motoru olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Balıkçıların % 63.63 ü balıkçılık yapmaktan memnun olup, balıkçıların hiçbiri çocuğunun gelecekte balıkçılığı tercih etmesini istememektedir
