Abstract

Genel adı crystalwort olan Riccia fluitans, akvaryum bitkileri arasında popüler olan Riccia kızılyaprak cinsinden suda yüzen bir bitkidir. Riccia fluitans sık sık su yüzeyinde ve altında kalın paspaslar oluşturarak ve havuzlarda yüzüyor olarak bulunabilir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Riccia fluitans’ ın farklı in vitro yöntemlerle antioksidan aktivitelerinin belirlenmesidir. Antioksidan ve antiradikal aktiviteler değerlendirilmesi için, ABTS•+ (2,2 '-azino - bis (3- etilenbenztiyazolin -6-sülfonik asit) radikali giderme aktivitesi, DPPH• (1,1- difenil-2- pikril-hidrazil) serbest radikal giderme aktivitesi, indirgeme kuvveti ve demir iyonları şelatlama aktiviteleri hesaplandı. α -tokoferol referans antioksidan bileşik olarak kullanılmıştır. Buna ek olarak, etanol ekstrelerinde toplam fenolik ve toplam flavonoid bileşikler sırasıyla, gallik asit ve kuersetin eşdeğerleri olarak belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, bu bitki doğal gıda antioksidan umut verici bir kaynağıdır
