Kuzey Ege ve Marmara Denizi Kıyısal Yüzey Sularında Scyphomedusae ve Ctenophora Üzerine Yerinde Gözlemler.

Abstract

Skifomedüz ve ktenoforların dağılımı ve bolluğu, 1998 ve 2005 arasında yaz ve sonbahar dönemlerinde yerinde gözlemlerle incelenmiştir. Skifomedüzler (A. aurita, R. pulmo) Kuzey Ege ve Marmara Denizi’nde geniş bir dağılım göstermiştir. Yazın baskın olan A. aurita sonbaharda azalmış, oysa R. pulmo bu dönemde belirgin olarak artmıştır. Ktenoforlar (M. leidyi, B. ovata) Kuzey Ege’de bulunmamıştır. M. leidyi Marmara Denizi’nde 1999’da bol olarak bulunmuş, B. ovata’nın ortaya çıktığı 2000’de belirgin bir azalma göstermiştir. Her iki ktenofor da 2004 ve 2005’de çalışma bölgesinde bulunmamıştır. Bu da pek muhtemelen M. leidyi yoğunluğunda büyük bir azalmaya işaret etmektedir
