Abstract

This study has been
carried out between January 2018 and December 2018 in Saros Bay (Northern Aegean Sea, Turkey). A single specimen of L. mormyrus with maximum
length (35.2 cm in total length and 400.00 g in total weight) was caught with
trammel nets by fisherman on 15 December 2018. The weight-length relationship
was calculated as W = 0.0335TL2.68 for all samples. The aim of this
study is to present the maximum size record of the species for the Turkish seas.

Abstract

Bu
çalışma Ocak 2018-Aralık 2018 tarihleri arasında Saros Körfezi’nde (Kuzey Ege
Denizi, Türkiye) yürütülmüştür. Maksimum boya sahip bir adet mırmır balığı
(35.2 cm toplam boy ve 400.00 gr toplam ağırlık) 15 Aralık 2018 tarihinde balıkçılar
yardımıyla fanyalı ağlarla yakalanmıştır. Tüm bireyler için ağırlık-boy
ilişkisi W = 0.0335TL2.68 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı
Türkiye denizleri için türün maksimum
boy kaydını sunmaktadır.
