Küresel Tehdit Mikroplastiklerin Kaynakları, Adsorpsiyonu ve Toksisitesi

Year 2020, Volume: 6 Issue: 2, 120 - 136, 01.12.2020

Abstract

Sources, Adsorption and Toxicity of Global Threat Microplastics

Year 2020, Volume: 6 Issue: 2, 120 - 136, 01.12.2020

Abstract

Plastic contamination is highly concerned nowadays and poses an uncertain threat to organisms. The concentrations of nano and microplastics in aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems are increasing rapidly. Limited number of studies in this field; the toxic effects of microplastics, removal efficiency from the environment, synergistic-antagonistic interactions with other contaminants in the media are insufficient in many issues and it should be supported by new studies. With this review study, it is aimed to provide an overview of the microplastics that have been detected even in freshwater environments and which are among the alarming contaminants.
