Hayvancılıkta Chernoff Yüzleri Uygulaması

Abstract

Çalışmada veri görselleştirme tekniklerinden
birisi olan Chernoff yüzleri ile pek çok özelliğin bir arada bulunduğu
hayvansal veri setlerinin teorik ve uygulamalı olarak incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır.
Chernoff yüzleri karmaşık çok boyutlu verilerin algısal belirginliğini değerlendirmek
ve bilişsel süreçleri daha etkin ve verimli kılmak için Herman Chernoff
tarafından tasarlanmış, basitleştirilmiş karikatür benzeri yüzlerdir. Çalışmada
veri seti olarak 2002 yılında Atabey, Isparta’da yetiştirilen 20 büyükbaş (İsviçre
esmeri), 20 küçükbaş hayvan (Kıl Keçisi) kullanılmıştır.
Yüz özelliklerinin algısal belirginlikte farklılıklar gösterdiği
ve

büyük ve karmaşık rakamlarla dolu gösterimler yerine şekillerle kolaylaştırılan
sunumlar elde edilmiştir.
