KÜLTÜR BALIKLARINDA Staphylococcus cohnii subsp. cohnii ENFEKSİYONU

Abstract

Bu çalışma ile Stafilokokkozis'in klinik bulgularını gösteren kültür gökkuşağı alabalıkları (Oncornhychus mykiss) ve sinarit (Dentex dentex) balıklarında ölümlere neden olan hastalık etkeninin saptanması amaçlanmıştır. Klinik bulgu olarak letarji, renkte koyulaşma, yüzgeç diplerinde ve gözlerde hemoraji gibi belirtiler gösteren enfekte balıklardan bakteriyolojik inceleme amacıyla TSA (Tryptic Soy Agar) ve T-TSA (%1 NaCl içeren Tryptic Soy Agar) besiyerlerine ekimler yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda hasta balıklardan Gram-pozitif kok, fermantatif, hareketsiz, sitokrom oksidaz ve koagülaz negatif, katalaz pozitif 8 izolat elde edilmiş ve konvansiyonel yöntem ve hızlı tanı kiti (API STAPH) sonuçlarına göre izole edilen bakterinin Staphylococcus cohnii subsp. cohnii olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca hasta balıkların bazılarında bu etken ile birlikte karışık enfeksiyonlarda tespit edilmiş ve izolatlar arasında antibiyogram duyarlılık testinde farklılıklar gözlenmiştir.

Yurdumuzda daha önce yapılan çalışmalarda kültürü balıklarından farklı Staphylococcus türleri rapor edilmiş olmakla birlikte bu çalışma ile yeni bir tür olarak S.cohnii subsp. cohnii ilk kez tespit edilmiştir.
